My main focus is teaching students microeconomic fundamentals and helping them achieve their academic goals.

My research, based on a background in applied microeconomics, public choice, and industrial organization, focuses on economic agents on the margin – from panhandlers on the street to drug dealers on the dark web.

My passion is connecting students with local nonprofits (like Miriam’s House) and other agents of change so they can apply the tools of economics to help the people who live on that margin.
