Randolph College requires all employees liable for executing responsibilities within our Sexual Misconduct Policies to participate in on-line and in-person training opportunities. Training varies by person and their respective duties. Training topics are diverse and support growing trends and data in the field.

Provided trainings during the 2025 calendar year include but are not limited to the following:

Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law & Policy: 46th Annual National Conference on Law & Higher Education

Description of Training:

Stetson’s Annual National Conference on Law & Higher Education—the premier and longest-running interdisciplinary event for higher education attorneys, administrators, student affairs professionals, and compliance leaders—offers cutting-edge insight into today’s most pressing campus issues. With 60 speakers presenting nearly 50 breakout sessions and a post-conference workshop, attendees gain exceptional opportunities to learn, engage, and network across a wide range of topics, including Title VI, Title IX, disability law, bias response, campus safety and the Clery Act, FERPA, artificial intelligence, athletics, and the latest legal and regulatory updates. The conference also features CLE and other advanced training opportunities designed to equip participants with the confidence and expertise needed to navigate an increasingly complex higher education landscape.

ATIXA: 2025 Summer Symposium

Description of Training:

Offerings designed to empower K-12 and higher education administrators with the expertise and tools to ensure effective Title VI compliance with federal guidance, to conduct thorough investigations, and to implement robust policies.

  • Title VI Compliance Foundations Level One for Educational Settings
    • Specialized training on ADA and Section 504 requirements for higher education, including accommodations, accessible programming, and compliance strategies aligned with Title IX principles.

  • Title VI Compliance Foundations Level Two for Educational Settings
    • A workshop focusing on identifying, investigating, and remedying cases of sex- and gender-based discrimination and disparate treatment within institutional settings.
  • Title VI and Other Civil Rights Investigation Foundations Level One for Educational Settings
    • Foundational training for Title IX coordinators, addressing core responsibilities, regulatory mandates, proactive gender equity measures, and effective oversight of Title IX processes.
  • Free Speech and Responding to Protests and Activism
    • Foundational training for Title IX coordinators, addressing core responsibilities, regulatory mandates, proactive gender equity measures, and effective oversight of Title IX processes.
