College renames Annual Fund, announces new matching challenge

The College’s Annual Fund has a new name—the Randolph Fund—but its purpose remains the same.  

“Randolph Fund gifts are crucial to the College’s ongoing financial well-being and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing world,” said Sarah Wardlow ’20, director of the Randolph Fund. “These unrestricted dollars are our most immediate source of support, and where it’s needed most.” 

The College also added an option to support new academic programs, joining previous areas of support: student success, first-generation students, engagement and belonging, experiential learning, faculty development, scholarships, and environmental sustainability. 

In addition to the name change, Randolph has also announced a new matching gift from the Jessie Ball duPont Fund. It is a 1:7 match, meaning the duPont Fund donates $1 for every $7 the College raises, up to $10,000. 

“This structure is to help stretch donor gifts further and increase collective impact,” Wardlow said. 

The match runs until Dec. 31 and counts for individual gifts of up to $500 made online.
