The Randolph College Chinese Program and Asian Studies Program are offering a language and culture immersion program this summer.
The 24-day trip to China will run from May 30 to June 23, 2026.
Students will learn Chinese through immersion; explore Beijing, Shanghai, and Zhenjiang, Pearl S. Buck’s hometown; tour historical and cultural sites; take self-guided excursions with classmates; explore local transportation, including the bullet train; and experience traditional and contemporary art.
Participating students will earn four language credits.
Two information meetings are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 24 at 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 4, at 4:30 p.m., both in Leggett 532.
