    • The vision of the Intercultural Center is to foster community engagement and belonging via cultivation of intercultural knowledge, competency, and leadership through co-curricular signature programs, community-building initiatives, auxiliary support for recruitment and retention, and primary support for religious and spiritual life.

    • Cultural Heritage Month Observances
      • The Intercultural Center collaborates with campus partners, student organizations, and community members to create a calendar of events featuring intergroup dialogues, keynote speakers, social events, films, and more.
    • Intercultural Festival
      • The Intercultural Festival is an annual celebration of difference to unite, inspire, and entertain the entire campus community.  It creates a space to introduce various cultures through creative displays, activities, foods, and performances.
    • Intercultural Tailgate
      • The Intercultural Center partners with student organizations and alumni affinity groups annually to host the Homecoming Tailgate. Students, alumni, faculty, and staff unite to reminisce and create new memories before the Homecoming game.
    • Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration
      • In partnership with the Office of the President, the Intercultural Center hosts an annual program to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

    • First Fridays
      • On the first Friday of each month during the academic year, the Intercultural Center holds an open house featuring fare from a local small business, typically a bakery, and invites faculty, staff, and students to stop by and celebrate making it to a new month, meet someone new, or check in with friends. The goal is to encourage faculty, staff, and students to cultivate and sustain connections with the broader community.

      • On the second Friday of each month during the academic year, the Intercultural Center celebrates the unique fashion sense of faculty, staff, and students. The goal is to encourage faculty, staff, and students to celebrate and respect individuality.

    • The mission of Spiritual and Religious Life division is to serve Randolph College community members with belief, who claim no belief, and all who seek deeper meaning in life by
      • providing opportunities for meaning-making and personal discovery;
      • nurturing the vitality of campus communities of reflection, spiritual practice, and worship; and
      • promoting courageous, candid, and transformative dialogue among religious communities and other disciplines of intellectual life.
    • Guiding Principles
      • Autonomy– Randolph College community members, as individuals and in groups, have the right to expect that when they respectfully decline invitations to certain religious activities or express the desire not to be contacted by their sponsors, these expressions will be respected.
      • Pluralism– Randolph College community members, as individuals and in groups, have the right to expect that their personal religious or spiritual commitments (or lack thereof) will respectfully coexist with those of others.
      • Integrity – Randolph College community members have the right to expect all groups not affiliated with the College that aspire to include students in their life and work will make this interest known to and discuss feasibility with the Chief Engagement and Belonging Officer.
      • Transparency– Randolph College community members have the right to expect that events sponsored by particular religious groups, or events that will espouse points of view associated with a particular faith, will be clearly identified as such.

            • The Multifaith Open Secular Atheist Inclusive Council (MOSAIC) is an administrative entity comprised of faculty and staff that supports the Chief Engagement and Belonging Officer (CEBO) in overseeing Spiritual and Religious Life at the College.
