Randolph College, located in Lynchburg, Virginia, seeks a full-time professional responsible for all aspects of the new eSports program. The coach will lead the development of the program and will oversee the eSports team, special events, and associated programs. The coach will plan and implement all aspects of an eSports program from the selection of games and tournaments to student recruitment, coaching and devising team strategy.
Ability to articulate a vision for a premier eSports program at a college and a bachelor’s degree are required. Competitive eSports experience involving multiplayer online videogames with team-based elements, preferred. Experience recruiting high school and or college students, preferred. Requires excellent relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be good at problem solving and organizational skills. Strong marketing and promotions skills are needed. A self-starter with a positive attitude is a must.
