Job Title:  Sustainability Assistant – Organic Garden & Bike Share

Department:  Sustainability

Number of positions available:  1

Essential Functions:  Mowing, trimming, weeding, plant care, maintaining Bike Share bikes, caring for chickens, and occasionally constituent relations

Qualifications:  Experience with gas-powered mowers, basic tools, and gardening. Knowledge of bike maintenance. Experience handling chickens is preferred, but not required.

Working Environment:  Outdoors, garden. Requires standing/walking/pushing/ kneeling for extended periods of time. May occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. May interact with animals, including chickens.

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Hours:  Average 6 hours per week, more during warm months and less during cold months
