Job Title: Student Assistant – Maier Museum of Art

This position works across all Museum departments. Projects and assignments vary based on needs and student’s schedule. Work may include:
Work schedule may include weekday, evening, and weekend hours.
Must be highly organized, attentive to detail, and have strong writing and computer skills. Must have good communication skills. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Open to all majors. Students majoring/minoring in art history, museum and heritage studies, history, studio art, education, or media and culture preferred. Interest in learning about the inner workings of a museum preferred.
Position works in a museum environment and office environment. Requires standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods. May occasionally lift 5-15 lbs.
Pay: $7.25 per hour
Hours: 4.5 hours/week
