Nursery School Afternoon Teacher

Randolph College Nursery School is seeking a part-time afternoon Lead Teacher. Located on the beautiful campus of Randolph College, our preschool stands out as a small, child-friendly, and welcoming environment for all.

The person selected for this position will be responsible for planning and leading the afternoon operations of a preschool classroom in accordance with the policies and philosophy of the Nursery School.  This person will assume the duties of acting Director at times when the Director is absent.

Successful candidates will have a love and understanding of children, and the capacity to communicate well with parents and co-workers in a positive, professional manner. Good humor and a loving attitude are a must! Teachers are expected to meet licensing standards for professional development and must receive a clear background check upon hire. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree/CCA are preferred and must have professional experience working with young children.
