Randolph College, a private residential college of approximately 550 students, is seeking an hourly Licensed or Licensed Eligible Mental Health Counselor for the Counseling Center. Position is for 10 hours per week, for the academic year August – May.
– Individual, group, couples, and family counseling
– Crisis intervention
– Mental health assessment and referral
– Provides psychoeducational programming, outreach, and/or training to students, faculty, and/or staff
– Provides coverage for emergency on-call rotation coverage
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or Licensed Eligible. Successful candidate must have, at a minimum, 2 years of clinical experience with college age individuals across a broad range of presenting issues, including mental health and substance use diagnoses. Candidate should have a strong commitment to supporting the educational mission of the college, nurturing and advancing student development, and working in a collegial fashion with other counselors, faculty, and staff for coordination of care.
