Randolph College has an immediate opening for a full-time, 40 hour per week, night watch Campus Safety Officer (CSO). Hours are midnight to 8:00 a.m., varying nights off, with occasional overtime. Prior safety/security experience is desirable but not necessary. Applicant should have a positive attitude, good problem solving and mediation skills, and the ability to calmly deal with and deescalate stressful situations. Requirements include a valid Virginia driver’s license and successful completion of a police fingerprint-based background check. Based upon the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services CSO standards, multiple certifications must be accomplished within 180 days of initial employment.
