Randolph College has an immediate opening for a full-time Accounts Payable and Purchasing Manager. This position requires an organized individual with experience in computer-based accounting systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), along with an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, plus two to three years’ experience in related field. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus. Responsibilities include administering and managing the accounts payable function for the College, including leading and managing the implementation of a new accounts payable automation software. Other responsibilities include general ledger account reconciliations, Form 1099 and unclaimed property filings, compiling monthly reports, journal entries, etc. Primary purchasing responsibilities will involve identifying and implementing purchasing mechanisms and/or policy changes resulting in efficiencies for the Business Office/College. Pleasant and effective interpersonal communication and the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity is demanded.
