Job Title: Digital Engagement Assistant
Department: Annual Fund – Digital Engagement
Number of positions available: 1-2
Essential Functions: Engage and connect with alumni via text, email, phone, and/or short video recordings. Types of contacts include encouraging updates to existing alumni contact information, thanking alumni who have made recent financial gifts to support Randolph, inviting alumni to participate in virtual events, and encouraging alumni to support Randolph College with small participation gifts to Annual Fund areas.
Qualifications: Active and engaged students with a strong affinity for Randolph College, ability to carry on a conversation on the phone and/or by text, good oral and written communication skills, willingness to ask for donations and pledges over the telephone/text message/video, and a willingness to learn.
Working Environment: Work is done in the Office of Institutional Advancement (Doyle House), across the street from campus on the corner of Rivermont and Norfolk Avenue.
Pay: $10.00 per hour.
Times and Hours: Full month of October, then again late November through end of semester in December. Hours are flexible, anytime within normal office hours of 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Mon.-Fri. May be potential for occasional evening work in late October.
