Randolph College has an immediate full-time opening for a Campus Safety Officer (CSO). Hours of work and days off vary. Occasional overtime may be required. Prior safety/security experience is desirable but not necessary. Applicant should have a positive attitude, good problem solving and mediation skills, and the ability to calmly deal with and deescalate stressful situations. Requirements include a valid Virginia driver’s license and successful completion of an in-depth fingerprint-based background check. Multiple certifications mandated by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services must be accomplished within 180 days of initial employment.
