Randolph College has a full-time opening for a Sponsored Programs Officer. The position is responsible for the acquisition and management of federal and state grants, fellowships, and other awards that fall within the academic division of the College. The position supports faculty and staff in all areas of pre- and post-award grant functions, including, but not limited to, researching and identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and overseeing reporting, financial monitoring, and compliance. The position is responsible for grant-related policy development and compliance with the Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Guidance.
Bachelor’s degree required, masters preferred. Individual must have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. While an integral part of the Dean of the College team, this individual must be self-motivated and highly organized with excellent computer skills. Two to three years of direct experience working with faculty and in proposal writing or a related field is a must. Familiarity with federal grant compliance guidelines preferred.
