Dr. Gross and her students will share their current research project to measure self-reporting of risk-taking, morality, disgust sensitivity, and political ideology to predict pandemic-related behaviors. For example, who is more/less likely to socially distance, wear masks, etc.? The pandemic-related behaviors are an interesting topic because they represent both moral and risk-taking decisions. These choices involve concern with the safety of individual health, the safety of others, and economic repercussions.
