Academic Strategies Program

The Academic Services Center (ASC), located in the Lipscomb Library, offers a variety of services to help you strengthen college level learning strategies. The Academic Strategies Program (ASP) provides you with an individualized learning strategies assessment and teams you with a peer tutor to work with you to improve your strategies. The Center also offers students the use of videos, books, and handouts on learning strategies should they want to improve in these areas on their own. Many students opt to study in the ASC which has both PCs and Macs available for use.  Our peer tutors receive accredited training through the College Reading and Learning Association. They are actively involved in campus life and can help you balance your academics as well as your extracurricular hobbies and commitments!
