Life at Randolph
Quillian Visiting International Professorship

The world is getting smaller. It's arguable that in no other time in history has it been more important for young people to raise their awareness and increase their understanding of different cultures and different points of view. You can do that in a number of ways at Randolph College. One of them is through the Quillian Visiting Professor program.

With the purpose of ensuring that you benefit from cross-cultural experiences, this permanent faculty position is filled annually by visiting international scholars. Their presence on campus and in your life enables the entire Randolph community to be enriched through classes, lectures, faculty development seminars, and study seminars offered by Quillian Scholars.

Our Quillian Scholar for the 2006-2007 academic year is Dr. Mario Maldonado Incayawar

Dr. Incayawar received his M.D. from the School of Medicine at Universidad Central del Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador.

He has advanced training in Psychobiology & Psychopharmacology from the NIMH Research Center on the Psychobiology of Ethnicity, UCLA.
