We know that picking college classes can be tricky business, especially for first-years.
Maybe you took French in high school, but you’ve always wanted to learn Chinese. Maybe you’re a natural at chemistry, but you also have this great idea for a short story. Maybe it’s been your lifelong dream to become a doctor, but what about your lifelong dream to become a professional soccer player?
Bottom line, you only have four short years to take every cool class and sign up for every new club, but you still need to walk away with a degree that means something personally and professionally.
That’s why we came up with the Randolph Plan. From the first day you arrive at Randolph, you’ll have a personal academic advisor who will help you choose the classes, clubs, sports and study abroad opportunities that will make your Randolph experience fun, fulfilling and highly attractive to future employers.
Once you declare a major, you’ll be assigned a second advisor from your department who will help you set concrete academic, personal and career goals and define the steps to reaching them.
With so much support, it’s no surprise that our graduates get into medical school at a rate 29% higher than the national average. Or that we rank in the top 10% nationally for the percentage of students who go on to earn a PhD.
No two Randolph students are alike, so no two Randolph Plans are alike. The idea is that you take ownership of your education and we provide the guidance and resources to make your dreams a reality. It’s worked for generations of Randolph graduates and we’re confident it will work for you.
