Q: Do you accept a personal check? Credit cards?
A: Yes, we will accept your personal check. We also take Visa and MasterCard at the Development Office via e-mail or over the phone, 434-947-8127. You can make a donation online using ANY major credit card at our secure site.

Q: Can I designate my gift to a specific fund? How?
A: While we hope all donors will make annual unrestricted gifts, you may choose to designate your gift to a specific fund. You may also designate your unrestricted gifts to specific areas within the Annual Fund itself. For example, you may choose to designate your Annual Fund gift to either student scholarships, faculty salaries, curriculum development, facilities and equipment. To do so, please include this information with your gift.

Q: What is the Annual Fund?
A: The Annual Fund, which is the cornerstone of giving to the College, provides crucial unrestricted dollars for the College's annual operating budget. These dollars represent approximately ten percent of the operating budget and provide flexibility for the College to meet needs as they arise.

Q: How often will I be contacted by the Randolph College Annual Fund?
A: Alumnae, parents and friends are usually contacted two to three times throughout the year through our direct mail campaign and via e-mail. In addition, current students may call you seeking support for the Annual Fund during our Phonathons throughout the year.

Q: How do I make a current-year pledge?
A: There are several different ways to make a current-year pledge. The first option is to click here. It will walk you through the steps for making a pledge, or you may call us toll free at 1-877-769-2443.

Q: What is the minimum gift/pledge needed to establish an endowed fund?
A: There are numerous opportunities available for establishing an endowed fund, and the minimum needed varies by fund. For example, to set up a named unrestricted fund, the minimum needed is $25,000; however, to establish a restricted fund takes an investment of $50,000 or more. For more information regarding the different naming opportunities available, please contact the Development Office.

Q: Can I donate a horse to the College?
A: Yes, you can donate a horse to the College. Gifts in kind are gifts of tangible personal property, such as artwork, horses, and real estate, which can either be used by Randolph College or sold for funds to help support our continuing efforts to provide a superior liberal arts education. If you are interested in donating a horse, or any other such items, to Randolph, please contact the Development Office.
