Since its founding as Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 1891, Randolph College has been a home for originals. Our alumnae include Nobel and Pulitzer prize-winning author Pearl S. Buck, CNN political correspondent Candy Crowley, New York City Ballet Executive Director Katherine Brown, Judge Frank Hull, and microbiologist Elizabeth Grimm. Our current students are continuing the tradition of the Greek Play, writing a Climate Action Plan for Randolph College, studying the musical heritage of the College, and learning about sustainable development through their work in the organic garden. And, as the College has always been a place for originals, it also has a great tradition of giving back, from alumni, parents, friends, and students.
Endowed gifts through the College's history continue in perpetuity to support students through scholarships, faculty through endowed chairs, and programs including summer research, visiting artists and scholars, study abroad, and environmental studies. And, current gifts to the College's Annual Fund provide a living endowment for students in need of scholarships, enhanced technology, faculty support and general operations.
Join others whose past and continued support impacts the originals engaged in the life of the College-the same students, faculty and graduates who impact the lives of those in their communities and the broader world. Support the Annual Fund today. Make a deferred gift for the future. Or, consider a significant gift that can transform a program or building.
