Need-based Aid

As you go through the financial aid process, Randolph’s Student Financial Services Office stands ready to help you navigate the ever-changing waters of financial aid and successfully find the right combination for you.

A variety of financial aid options are available to Randolph students, including academic scholarships and merit awards , need-based grants, federal and state grants, campus employment, and low-interest loans. We also offer a monthly payment plan

Here’s a sampling of the types of aid:

Randolph Grant , a need-based grant.

Federal Pell Grant , a need-based grant of up to $4,310 (estimated).

Federal Supplementary Educational Opportunity Grant , a need-based grant of up to $4,000.

Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (VTAG), a $3,000 (est.) grant that is available to all Virginia residents who attend as full-time degree candidates.

Virginia College Scholarship Assistance Grant Program (CSAP) , a need-based grant available to Virginia residents for up to $1,000.

Other state grants. Several states offer varying amounts of grant assistance that can be used at Virginia colleges. Check with the Council of Higher Education in your state for details.

Loans are available at low interest rates through the government.

Campus Employment provides work-study opportunities for students both with and without financial need.
