Senior Creative Media Project
The Communication Studies Senior Creative Media Project option is designed to accommodate Communication Studies majors whose main interest is in media production. The project will be composed of the following components:
- A creative media project such as a short fictional, documentary, or animated film; a web site; a multimedia project; or an investigative journalism project.
- An artist/journalist statement [the written portion of the project]
- A public screening/showing of the projectand discussion with the audience, led by the creator.
Students pursuing this option will enroll in both COMM 493 and 494, but the proposal and paper guidelines will be modified to fit their project.
