G. Retirement Plan

All employees of the College who work at least 1000 hours in a year are eligible to participate in the College's TIAA-CREF Retirement Plan on January 1 and July 1 coinciding with or next following completion of one year of service and age 26. Part-time faculty who teach at least 15 credit units in an academic year will be considered to meet the 1000 hours requirement. Contributions are based on W-2 wages. Upon qualification for participation in the program the faculty member will be contacted by the Personnel Office to complete the TIAA Annuity contract application and make his/her selection as to how the College contribution is to be invested.
