Dr. Cohen received the Classical Association of Virginia's Lurene W. Todd Teacher of the Year award at their Spring meeting held at The College of William and Mary in May 2008.

This summer she is channelling Mabel K. Whiteside (see photo on the right) on the panel “Representing our Ancestors” at the annual American Classical League Institute. 

Preparations are well under way for the Fall 2008 production of The Greek Play, which will be Sophocles’ Elektra, and will be performed October 10-12.

She is planning an International Study Seminar tour in Athens, Greece —“Practical Wisdom: Drama and Philosophy in Greece” — with Dr. David Schwartz, Philosophy,  for May/June 2009.
