Housing at Reading

Randolph College owns three houses just across the street from one of the main gates of the University of Reading. All students in our program live in one of these charming homes. You take meals at Bridges Hall, one of the University's residence halls located about a 5-minute walk from our houses. Bridges forms the basis of your social life at Reading, and you have full hall privileges. You are welcome at all social events and the Junior Common Room.

151 You are also a member of the Reading University Students' Union and can participate in clubs, organizations, and sports. In past years, students have joined the Outing Club, which plans weekend trips to picturesque locales around England, the Morris Dancing Club, and the drama society, to name a few. They have also coxed and rowed crew; joined the caving club; starred on the basketball team; played tennis, soccer, and field hockey; and ridden horseback. For a complete list of available organizations and sports clubs, check out the Students' Union website, and click on "Get Involved", then "sports" and "societies."
