Faculty Development Center

The mission of the Faculty Development Center is to promote excellence in teaching in the following ways:

assisting new faculty with becoming familiar with the Randolph College community and  support services available coordinating a mentoring program for new faculty members promoting the exchanging of information and expertise on various aspects of faculty development through discussions and workshops providing/coordinating peer teaching evaluations providing reference materials on faculty development topics fostering faculty's efforts to be the most effective teachers they can be keeping faculty informed of faculty development opportunities available both on and off campus providing funding for faculty interested in attending faculty development conferences For more information contact:     Director: Gerard Sherayko Associate Prof. of History Department Chair Office: Smith 304 Phone: (434) 947-8521 e-mail:    gsherayko@randolphcollege.edu
