Counseling services are confidential with no information being released to College staff, family, or others without the student's written permission to do so, except where constrained by ethical and state legal parameters (e.g., imminent risk of suicide). Confidentiality extends to honor code violations, as counselors are exempt from the responsibility of reporting such violations.
