Certified College Health Nurses and the Physician Assistant strive to promote healthy lifestyle habits and provide treatment, counseling, and education for typical student health needs and concerns. For more specialized needs, students are referred to the Physician.

A Physician Assistant is a mid-level practitioner who is able to diagnose and treat common illnesses under the supervision of an attending physician. The Physician Assistant works independently and collaboratively as a health educator and health care provider.
