Meet the Experiential Learning Center Staff

Tina Johnson, '93Tina Johnson
Director of the Experiential Learning Center

Tina Johnson graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 1993 earning a Bachelor of ArtsinInternational Relations with an emphasis in Russian studies. As a junior, she studied abroad with our World in Britain program in Reading, England. After working in the College's admissions office several years, she taught English in Russia as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer. Tina brings a passion for intercultural communication, study abroad, community service and leadership to the Experiential Learning Center.

 

Krista Leighton Krista Leighton
Director of Career Development

Krista Leighton started working in higher education in 1992. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Education, and a Master of Arts in Education at Virginia Tech in Student Personnel and Counseling. Krista brings unique experience to the Experiential Learning Center due to her combined experience as a former recruiter in the private sector, and a career and academic counselor in higher education.

 

 

Maryam Brown Goff, '02Maryam Brown Goff
Assistant Director of Career Development / Internship & Volunteer Coordinator

Maryam Brown Goff graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology / Anthropology. She has worked extensively with a variety of non-profit organizations and social service organizations in the Lynchburg area, and is excited to bring her connections to the College to grow internship and volunteer possibilities. Her range of work experiences - from sales to social advocacy - enables her to connect with students of all backgrounds in their quest to find their career path.

 

Carol E. Johnson Carol Johnson
Administrative Assistant

Carol has been involved with assisting students, faculty, and staff at Randolph College since 1995. She brings her vast amount of experience and organizational skills to assist in the ELC. She works closely with employers and students to schedule special events, information sessions, and individual appointments for ELC staff.
