Although this schedule lists the paid holidays and President's Days and the dates on which the College will observe them, your supervisor has the final authority as to whether or not your services will be required on the holiday or President's Day.

As has been customary, the College substitutes holidays which occur during the academic year (Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Washington's Birthday, and Lincoln's Birthday) for the days we have off during the Christmas break. The College observes these holidays during Christmas break exclusively, unless your supervisor feels your services are needed during that time. If that is the case, your supervisor will inform you as to when you may substitute another day off for having worked the holiday.
