Top Story #5: Randolph remembers William F. Quillian

As the fifth and longest-serving president in the history of the College William F. “Bill” Quillian left an unforgettable mark on our history. He passed away on March 4, shortly before his 101st birthday.

The Randolph College community has honored Quillian’s memory in several ways. Many members of the community attended his funeral services, and the College renamed a donor society in his honor. A tree was planted in his memory on campus, not far from Margaret’s Gate, which was named in honor of his wife.
