Sierra Club ranks Randolph among the nation's top "Cool Schools"

The Sierra Club joins the growing list of organizations that recognize Randolph College for its environmentally sustainable practices.

Randolph made the Sierra Club’s list of 173 “Cool Schools” published in the September/October 2014 edition of Sierra magazine. The list evaluates and ranks colleges based on sustainability initiatives in academics, food, energy use, food services, and other factors. Only five Virginia colleges made the list.

The EPA recently named Randolph one of its top partners for clean energy use and The Princeton Review included Randolph in its 2014 Green Colleges guide.
