WildCat Theatre Performs Rocky Horror Show

LYNCHBURG – Randolph College’s WildCat Theatre will present Richard O’Brien’s stage musical, The Rocky Horror Show Oct. 30-Nov. 7.

The performance will be held in Thoresen Theatre in Leggett Building.

The Rocky Horror Show, a British-stage musical, premiered in London in 1973. It opened in the United States in 1974 and was adapted into the movie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975. The college’s production is directed by Kathy Clay with musical direction from Randall Speer and choreography by Hiawatha Johnson, Jr.

The performance is recommended for mature audiences only, and no outside props will be allowed. Costumes are welcome, and costume contests will be held after each show.

The performances will be held Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. On Nov. 5-Nov. 6, performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. A special 11:30 p.m. show will be held Nov. 7.

Admission is $12 general, $9 Randolph College faculty and staff, $7 over age 60, $5 all students. Tickets are available at lynchburgtickets.com or call 434-947-8562.
