Disclosure of Grades

Randolph College complies with The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 (often referred to as the “Buckley Amendment”), which protects the privacy of educational records, establishes students’ rights to inspect their records, provides guidelines for correcting inaccurate or misleading data, and permits students to file complaints with the

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act Office.The College expects that students will discuss their academic progress with their famlies. Only if authorized by the student and properly requested may the College disclose grades. To  authorize the potential release of grades, a student must complete the Consent to Disclose Information from Education Records Form  (available online or in the Registrar’s Office)
