College Chaplain

Randolph College has an immediate opening for a part-time 20 hours per week College Chaplain. The College Chaplain is the spiritual leader for the College and oversees spiritual life and religious development for Randolph College students. The Chaplain is an interfaith leader who offers a spiritual and religious presence that helps the campus community connect with their faith. The Chaplain will also offer opportunities for spiritual growth in campus life, worship and fellowship, as well as counsel and support for students. Bachelor’s degree required with formal Chaplain training/experience preferred; minimum requirements include an understanding of the role of the chaplain in an academic setting, experience working with college students, excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work independently. This person should also have a commitment to working with individuals of diverse cultures, race, ethnic, religious backgrounds, and diverse gender identities/sexual orientations.
