Content Writer-Academy Center of the Arts

Job Title:  Content Writer

Department: Academy Center of the Arts – Marketing and Communications (Off Campus-Community Service)

 Number of positions available: 1

Essential Functions:

  • Producing compelling blog posts, social media content, and copy for the Academy Center of the Arts (ACOA)
  • Editing content produced by other ACOA staff
  • Collaborate with ACOA departments to create innovative content
  • Actively manage and promote ACOA blog

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate level students pursuing degrees in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or English
  • Experience with writing content for blogs/print and digital publications
  • Excellent writing skills, grammar, and spelling
  • Detail-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines

Must be eligible for Federal Work Study and have own transportation

Working Environment: Office

Pay: $8.00 per hour

Hours: 10 – 20 per week
