Lecture: Art on the Edge: Borders and Barriers in Contemporary Landscape Photography - Lesley Shipley, Assistant Professor of Art History at Randolph College, considers the theme of borders in two contemporary landscape photographs in the Maier?s Collection: Carrie Mae Weems' "Untitled (from the Sea Island series)" and Stephen Tourlentes' "Rawlins, Wyoming, Wyoming Death House." Both works are on view in the student-curated exhibition, "Developed and Disturbed: Visions of the American Landscape."
