Lecture by: Assoc Professor, Nancy Serwint, Arizona State University "Ancient Marion and Arsinoe and the Votive Terracotta Corpus" The remarkable assemblage of terracotta statues from these two ancient sanctuaries on the NW coast of Cyprus yields evidence of cult ritual and an exchange of religious, cultural and stylistic influences in the Eastern Mediterranean from the Iron Age through the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods.
