Costs and Financial Aid

Tuition, room, and board are exactly the same as if you were studying on the Randolph College home campus in Lynchburg. For current tuition and room and board see admissions webpage. There is an additional study abroad fee of $2500 if you wish to study in Reading for the academic year or $1500 if you are enrolling for one semester. Round-trip air fare from the States and the cost of any traveling you wish to do following the end of each semester are additional expenses that you should budget for.

If you are a Randolph College student, your financial aid —grants, loans, and honor scholarships (but not work/study)—will apply to the Reading program. If you are enrolling in our program from another college or university, Randolph College has a need-based program for visiting students. To qualify, you must be either a US citizen or a permanent resident and be studying at an accredited institution that offers US federal funds to its students.

Students who are currently Pell Grant holders should consider applying for a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, sponsored by the US Department of State. See for details. These are competitive awards.
Some of our students find part-time jobs while they are in Reading. The rules governing employment of overseas students may be found on the web site of the British Council.
