Encore! Prague and Vienna**

September 12-24, 2015

Prague has everything that makes a European city special: a stunning natural setting along a river dominated by a great castle, a vivid history, a magnificent cathedral, lively open squares, narrow winding streets, formal gardens, inviting restaurants, and wonderful music. Through a series of carefully planned walking tours and special visits, explore a veritable wonderland of medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture in the company of an exceptional English-speaking guide who will reveal the “hidden jewels” of this extraordinary city as well as give us insight impossible to obtain from a guidebook. Three full days in Vienna and two nights in enchanting Cesky Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will set the scene for our unique sojourn in the heart of Prague’s historic center, completely intact! Last year’s trip, which sold out quickly, elicited great enthusiasm from the alums, spouses, and friends who participated in it. Here’s your chance to enjoy this feast of great architecture and exhilarating music!

TUSCANY off the Beaten Path**

October 7 – 17, 2015

For a refreshing change of pace, join us for a relaxing sojourn in breathtakingly beautiful southern Tuscany, where iconic views await you!  The sublime Val d’Orcia almost in it’s entirety – an UNESCO World Heritage site – is little changed from its appearance hundreds of years ago. From a delightful, small hotel conveniently located for unrushed excursions in every direction, we’ll explore medieval villages, walk in the unblemished countryside, relish Tuscan cuisine at its best, savor fine wines from Montalcino and Montepulciano, and marvel at extraordinary art, architecture and gardens, including privately owned properties. This perfect autumn “getaway” will begin and end in Florence, enabling us to make captivating discoveries in the Chianti en route to the Orcia Valley. Enjoy the tranquility of lesser-visited places-and three great wine regions-while someone else drives the back roads!Spouses, extended family and friends are always welcome!
