Scholarship Competition

Randolph College encourages student-leaders who want to make a difference in the world.

Our “Let Wisdom Rise” Scholarship Competition is designed to introduce leaders to the academic and co-curricular possibilities at Randolph. “Let Wisdom Rise” scholarship candidates will compete for awards up to $3,000. These awards are additions to any scholarships previously awarded to candidates by Randolph College. Scholarship candidates must possess at least a 3.0 high school GPA and an interest in community involvement in high school, at the College, and beyond.

Admitted students meeting the requirements will be invited to participate in the scholarship competition of their choice.


  • Applicants must be prospective college freshmen seeking full-time enrollment for the first-time in the fall semester.
  • Candidates will be invited to participate in the scholarship competition.
  • Students must submit the admissions application and be accepted to the College prior to the competition. Official high school transcripts and SAT and/or ACT scores must be submitted by the deadlines outlined above.
  • In order to be considered for the competition, candidates are required, with no exception, to participate on campus in one of the scheduled competitions.

Scholarship Competitions:

During the scholarship competition, candidates will interview with a faculty and staff panel and meet with current Randolph students.
